ANALISIS ISI USUS DAN LAMBUNG UNTUK MENENTUKAN FOOD AND FEEDING HABIT IKAN KEPEK SIRIP KUNING(Puntius marginatus)

Abstract

Ikan kepek (Puntius marginatus) adalahsalah satu sumberdaya perikanan yang memiliki potensi ekonomis di Magelang. Penelitian analisis isi usus dan lambung dapat memberikan informasi dasar untuk menjaga kelestarian populasi ikan kepek. Penelitian analisis isi usus dan lambung ikan kepek di aliran sungai Elo Magelang dilakukan pada bulan September 2019. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui jenis plankton pada isi usus dan lambung pada ikan kepek. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode survei. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ikan kepek adalah jenis ikan herbivor karena pada pengamatan jenis plankton yang ditemukan didominasi oleh fitoplankton.

Kepek fish (Puntius marginatus) is one of the fishery resources that has economic potential in Magelang. Research into the analysis of the contents of the intestine and stomach can provide basic information to maintain the sustainability of the population of fish flakes. Research on the analysis of the contents of the intestines and stomach of the flat fish in the Elo Magelang river was conducted in September 2019. The purpose of this study was to determine the type of plankton in the intestinal and stomach contents of the flat fish. The method used in this study is a survey method. The results showed that the flat fish was a type of herbivorous fish because observations of the type of plankton found were dominated by phytoplankton.
