Optimizing Non-Communicable Disease Health Promotion Through Medical Informatics Systems in Primary Healthcare Centers

Non-communicable disease prevalence is experiencing exponential increases requiring paradigmatic transformation in primary healthcare delivery through medical informatics systems utilization. This study aims to analyze optimization of NCDs health promotion through medical informatics systems implementation in primary healthcare settings using qualitative analysis approach. The study employed multiple case study design analyzing three specific cases: SATUSEHAT NCDs screening module implementation in 300 primary healthcare centers, Integrated Primary Services program digitalization, and PASS Mantap innovation program at Nan Balimo Primary Healthcare Center. Data analysis utilized thematic analysis with Technology Acceptance Model and Implementation Science frameworks. Medical informatics systems implementation demonstrated significant improvements in clinical documentation standardization, care continuity, and patient engagement. Success factors included organizational readiness, infrastructure adequacy, and community acceptance. Primary challenges encompassed digital divide, change resistance, and financing sustainability. In conculusion, NCDs health promotion optimization requires holistic approaches integrating technological innovation with organizational transformation and community engagement to achieve sustainable digital health ecosystems.
