Abstract

The primary issue addressed in this study is the students' low ability to perform basic basketball dribbling techniques due to their lack of mastery in the fundamental skills of playing basketball. The purpose of this research is to determine the extent to which audio-visual media influences the learning outcomes of basketball dribbling. This study employs a Quasi-Experimental Design and utilizes purposive sampling for selecting participants. A total of 55 students were sampled, divided into two experimental classes: Class IX MIPA 1 with 20 students and Class IX MIPA 4 with 35 students. Data analysis techniques included normality tests and t-tests, which were processed using SPSS 16 software. The results of this study were obtained by analyzing the dribbling learning outcomes using the audio-visual learning model. The findings indicate that the significance values for both groups were greater than 0.05. This suggests that there is no significant difference in the effect of audio-visual media on improving the basic technical skills of basketball dribbling.
