This study aims to measure the validity and reliability of learning multimedia tools. Instrument validation and reliability are determined using three quantitative methods with three main stages or steps, namely expert assessment (content validation), theory test (logical validation), and data test (construct validation). The research distributed questionnaires through Google Forms. Instrument validity data is based on the average score of the research subject's assessment. Media experts scored 92.68%, 90.5%, and 94.7% on three aspects. In contrast, material experts scored 89.50%, 88%, and 96% on three elements. KMO and MSA factor analysis tests covering three aspects produced values: The content aspect is 0.976, the learning/programming aspect is 0.962, and the display aspect is 0.978. The instrument's reliability, divided into three elements, is reliable because the Cronbach alpha value is higher than 0.7. The findings of this study provide new insights that multimedia development needs to be measured using the right instrument, the right instrument, valid and reliable. This research results in a multimedia evaluation instrument comprising content, appearance, learning, and programming. This research will undoubtedly provide positive things to evaluate multimedia in physical education.
2023-11-22T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Proceedings of International Conference on Physical Education, Health, and Sports https://proceeding.unnes.ac.id/icophs/article/view/2655 Analysis of Gap and Struggles in the Online Learning Process in Psychical Education during Covid-19 Pandemic 2023-11-22T17:27:08+07:00 Mike Mayvita Dewi [email protected] Adiska Rani Ditya Candra [email protected] Anggit Wicaksono [email protected] Rivan Saghita Pratama [email protected] Wiga Nurlatiga Romadhoni [email protected] Akhmad Fajri Widodo [email protected]
The pandemic of Covid-19 has significantly impacted many aspects of Indonesian’s lives, including education. This research aimed to understand more about the gap and struggles of the online learning process in physical education at the core elementary school in Sukorejo District during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study belongs to the descriptive qualitative research category. Observation, interviewing, and documentation are all forms of data collecting. The information gathered is in the form of descriptions based on five physical education teachers at core elementary schools in the Sukorejo District interviews. This research reveals that the online learning process for physical education has been successfully carried out in five elementary schools in the Sukorejo District. The teacher plans the lessons by deciding on objectives, equipment, media, teaching materials, and learning methods. The learning is going well, and both teachers and students can keep online learning going well, Eventhough the network and facilities possessed sometimes make students challenging to understand the subject. The entire learning process for physical education in the core elementary school in Sukorejo District was going unwell at the beginning of covid-19 pandemic. However, in the last year in 2021, it is better. This research suggests that schools with the same situation improve the facilities provided, upgrade technology, and teachers should develop the lessons with interactive media, and parent parents pay more attention and always accompany their children in every situation.
2023-11-22T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Proceedings of International Conference on Physical Education, Health, and Sports https://proceeding.unnes.ac.id/icophs/article/view/2656 Physical Conditions of the Unmuh Jember Martial Arts in Preparation for POMPROV II East Java 2023-11-22T17:33:33+07:00 Ahmad Sulaiman [email protected] Afaf Achmad Syahab [email protected] Rizki Apriliyanto [email protected] Bahtiar Hari Hardov [email protected] Topo Yono [email protected]
Muhammadiyah University of Jember is currently preparing its students to compete in POMPROV II East Java 2023. This increasing number contradicts the target from the WHO to decrease the prevalence of obesity in 2025 until it is not higher than the prevalence in 2010. That increasing national prevalence of central obesity was in line with Central Java with increasing around 7,7% from 2007 to 2018. This condition may lead to many non-communicable diseases as well as cardiovascular diseases (CVD) related. So, it needs to be addressed by controlling the modifiable factors by analyzing the correlation between risky behavior and central obesity among people aged ≥15 years old in Central Java. This was an ecological study using city/district in Central Java as a unit analysis. Then, secondary data from Central Java Province Basic Health Research 2018 was used. The collected data was analyzed by Pearson/Spearmen test. Based on the correlation analysis, it showed that there was no correlation between consuming sweet food (p=0.375; r=0.157), fatty food (p=0.060; r=0.326), instant food (p=0.588; r=0.096), and carbonated drink excessively (p=0.465; r=0.130). It also in line with the low consumption of fruit and vegetables (p=0.673; r=0.075) with central obesity in Central Java. Moreover, the high frequency of smoking (p=0.039; r=-0.355) had a negative moderate correlation with central obesity. It was in line with low physical activity (p=0.012; r=0.427) and had a positive moderate correlation with central obesity. So, based on the result of this study, there were two risky behaviors correlated with central obesity, such as smoking behavior and physical activity.
2023-11-22T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Proceedings of International Conference on Physical Education, Health, and Sports https://proceeding.unnes.ac.id/icophs/article/view/2660 The "Fahombo Batu" High Jump Training Model for Students Ages 13-15 2023-11-22T18:55:10+07:00 Ardotonafo Wiratama Hulu [email protected] Firmansyah Dlis [email protected] James Tangkudung [email protected] Abd. The injuries experienced by athletes must be immediately known and understood by all supporting teams that support the training program, including by coaches and assistant masseurs in sports. Complaints of injured athletes are pain and decreased movement function. Signs and symptoms usually begin gradually, causing an athlete's performance to decrease or even disappear without return of sensory and motor function. lack of socialization about the stages of handling if an injury has occurred in an athlete. The purpose of the training carried out for the team of trainers and masseurs accompanying sports is an understanding of the stages of handling and training in carrying out pain management for injured athletes. The method used is providing assistance to the trainer team and the masseur is then given a questionnaire regarding the results of the training carried out. Questionnaires were given to coaches for trainers and masseurs to respond to the training program, as well as given to athletes related to the services provided after the coaches and masseurs received training. For this reason, an educational program on understanding the treatment of injuries was formed for coaches depending on the type of sport as well as capacity building for masseur teams from each sport. the training program produces maximum understanding. the trainer's response to the training program is 80% very good, the masseur's response is 85% right on target for the masseur's team. Schools must meet the number of facilities, the allocation of study time, and the number of students in one class. Physical education in Indonesia requires students to practice movement. Implementation of physical education is affected by the number of students, learning time, and the ratio of facilities to students. This research uses a case study approach because it examines the phenomenon of implementing physical education if it follows the standards set by the Ministry of Education. The regulations being studied are Regulation of the Minister of Education number 24 of 2007 concerning facilities standards, number 22 of 2016, which regulates the number of students, and number 56 of 2022, which regulates the curriculum. The study time allocation for physical education per week in elementary school is 105 minutes, junior high school is 80 minutes, and senior high school is 90 minutes. The standards listed regarding facilities suggestions are that at all school levels, a minimum of one set of gymnastic equipment, one set of athletic equipment, and six balls for basketball, volleyball, and soccer. The standard of one set does not mention the exact amount, causing multiple perceptions to define the minimum amount. The maximum number of students allowed is 28 for elementary school, 32 for junior high school, and 36 for senior high school. The analysis results show that the opportunity to practice the movements using tools is meager. Each student at the elementary school level only had the opportunity to use a ball 21.3% and other tools 3.5% of the total study time. Each student at the junior high school level only has the opportunity to use the ball 18.75% and other tools 3.125% of the total study time. Each senior high school level student only had the opportunity to use a ball 16.67% and other tools 2.78% of the total study time. It is necessary to carry out studies related to minimum standards, allocation of study time, and the maximum number of students so that the implementation of physical learning can be carried out ideally
2023-11-23T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Proceedings of International Conference on Physical Education, Health, and Sports https://proceeding.unnes.ac.id/icophs/article/view/2666 The Correlation Between Mental Health Level and Athlete’s Performance 2023-11-23T00:42:12+07:00 Calvin Zefanya [email protected] Anggit Wicaksono [email protected]
Recently mental health is taking a lot of attention and affect among people and athlete’s also with no exception, because athlete’s demand to show their best performance. In the middle of the training process physical ability and mental ability are the main things that could give effect to an athlete's performance. Many opinions agree about mental health roles in affecting the performance of athlete The objective of this research is to find the relationships in mental health level and athlete’s performance. The method that the author used in this research is literature review. The results show that there are contrary opinions, which are points of view that state that level of mental health is the main factor that determines the good or bad performance of athletes, but there are opinions that show vice versa which the level of the athlete's performance that affects the level of mental health. It could determine whether an athlete has good mental health or has a mental health disorder such as anxiety and depression. However, other than that some studies found that the level of mental health could affect the performance of athlete’s but not significantly because there are other factors that affect the athlete’s performance such as physical and environmental conditions that could affect it too.
2023-11-23T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Proceedings of International Conference on Physical Education, Health, and Sports https://proceeding.unnes.ac.id/icophs/article/view/2667 Analysis of the Needs of Breastfeeding Mothers in Workplace 2023-11-23T00:44:48+07:00 Chatila Maharani [email protected] Mardiana Mardiana [email protected]
Indonesia’s infant and children under-five mortality rate has decreased recently, however, it is still higher than in other Southeast-Asia countries. One strategy to decrease those rates is by increasing the coverage of Exclusive Breastfeeding. The coverage of Exclusive Breastfeeding in Indonesia was 50.67%. However, there were several obstacles for mothers to breastfeed their babies, namely breast problems, lack of knowledge and skill, barriers due to being working mothers, and failure practices in health facilities. Working mothers are usually faced with workloads, no time for expressed breastmilk and no facilities to express/pump and stored the breastmilk in the workplace. The purpose of this study is to know what breastfeeding mothers need in the workplace. This is a descriptive qualitative study with in-depth interviews with employees in a government institution by snowball sampling to find the informants. The main informants are 14 female employees (pregnant, having babies aged 0-6 months, and breastfed). There were 7 triangulation sources (colleagues, superiors and health officers in the institution's health facilities). We did thematic analysis by creating and coding all transcriptions. As a result, 12 informants expressed breastmilk in the workplace, 1 informant expressed breastmilk at home, and 1 informant did not do it because there were no facilities at the office. Informants expressed the breastmilk in their working room, other working rooms which are quieter or not to be used, superior working room, bathroom, kitchen, prayer room dan private car. Some informants stored the breastmilk in the refrigerator, which is available at the office, while others used their cooler bags. Based on the result, the informants expect that the office will provide a lactation room, give permission to express breastmilk between working hours, and having maternity leave, especially for contract workers who did not know exactly about their leave entitlements.
2023-11-23T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Proceedings of International Conference on Physical Education, Health, and Sports https://proceeding.unnes.ac.id/icophs/article/view/2668 The Relationship between Nutritional Knowledge and Nutritional Status in Sports Special Class Students 2023-11-23T00:51:39+07:00 Dinda Nafilla [email protected] Yulia Lanti Retno Dewi [email protected] Intan Suraya Ellyas [email protected]
Lack of knowledge about nutrition in athletes can lead to a mismatch between nutrient intake and energy expended during the exercise process. The population in this study were all beginner athletes racing number xc mountain bikes in Karawang district. By using a purposive sampling technique, 20 samples were selected with a non-mountain bike racer background, which was then used to collect data using a stopwatch instrument. Processing and analyzing the data using SPSS 16. In this study the calculation technique used the One-Way Anova test. The research hypothesis is that there is a positive effect of giving feedback on improving the performance of mountain bike racers and there is a difference in the effect of feedback on low-speed athletes and there is no difference in the effect of feedback on high-speed athletes. The results of this study show differences in the increase in time between groups of high-speed athletes. high and low speed in the experimental and control groups. A more significant increase in time was shown by the group that received knowledge of performance and knowledge of result feedback both in the high-speed class and in the low-speed class. Even though both of them experienced an increase in time, in the low speed class the group receiving knowledge of performance and knowledge of result feedback was more significant than the group receiving feedback from the high speed class. So it can be concluded by providing knowledge of performance feedback and knowledge of results on being able to provide an increase in performance time for beginner mountain bike racing athletes).
2023-11-23T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Proceedings of International Conference on Physical Education, Health, and Sports https://proceeding.unnes.ac.id/icophs/article/view/2673 Sports Event as Host City Promotion Media A Literature Review 2023-11-23T01:20:13+07:00 Tandiyo Rahayu [email protected] Billy Castyana [email protected] Heny Setyawati [email protected] Gustiana Mega Anggita [email protected] Dewangga Yudhistira [email protected]
No one would have thought that sports become an arena for promoting culture, unifying the nation, establishing cooperation, and the media to improve the economy. Therefore, organizing sports events is very beneficial for national interests, one of which is increasing the economic sector through sport tourism. However, there are still not many studies on the analysis of literature reviews that focus on sports events as host city promotion media. The purpose of this article is to show that sports events can be a promotional media to increase tourist visits to the host city, not only while the event is taking place but after the event has been held. This literature review used 17 articles with inclusion criteria that only articles from 2013 to 2023 applying the keywords, namely sports events, city branding, destination image, and tourist revisit. From those articles, authors found that the host city must have the concepts of excitement, relaxation, entertainment, and pleasantness on the sports event. In its implementation, the host city must ensure that sports tourists get good quality sports event, such as the provision of quality public facilities, attractive tourist attractions, and good urban planning. Besides, choosing a venue location that can show the beauty of the host city is needed to create a connection between sports tourists and the host city through memories. This can be realized by preparing an atmosphere, quality entertainment, and quality events.
2023-11-23T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Proceedings of International Conference on Physical Education, Health, and Sports https://proceeding.unnes.ac.id/icophs/article/view/2674 Imagery Training Model: The Effect on Lay Up Shoot Skills on Basketball Extracurricular Participants 2023-11-23T01:23:31+07:00 Haris Kurnianto [email protected] Dewangga Yudhistira [email protected]
Basketball has been introduced from elementary to high school and even college. Coaching and development of educational sports are carried out by paying attention to students' potential, abilities, interests, and talents, both through extracurricular and extracurricular activities. The main purpose of basketball extracurricular is to introduce the game of basketball. Layup shoot is a type of fundamental shooting needed by players to break through the opponent's guard or defense to get closer to the hoop to enter the ball, Some of the obstacles that are still faced by coaches in teaching extracurricular participants in doing layup shoot movements include movement coordination factors that are not quasi-controlled when doing lay up shoot movement stages and some factors affect lay up shoot skills. Aspects of psychology were chosen as a means companion to lay-up shoot exercises, including imagery exercises. The average score of the right post-test control was 4.40 and the right post-test treatment was 6.73. The average left post-test control value was 6.40 and the left treatment control value was 3.27. Conclusion The posttest value of the right treatment is higher than that of the kana control while the left treatment is lower than the left control. Based on the results of the data obtained in this study, the research still has shortcomings, namely the left lay-up shoot movement has not increased significantly. This study has limitations, one of which is that the sample used is relatively small, and there is no previous pretest data collection. Therefore, researchers are further advised, when replicating this study, to use a larger sample and take the pretest data as a comparison from the post-test data. In addition, imagery exercises should emphasize exercise specifications as a companion to skill exercises or as exercises to improve.
2023-11-23T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Proceedings of International Conference on Physical Education, Health, and Sports https://proceeding.unnes.ac.id/icophs/article/view/2675 Menstrual Pain and Athlete's Emotional Regulation 2023-11-23T01:26:43+07:00 Heny Setyawati [email protected] Didik Rinan Sumekto [email protected] Tressya Melliana [email protected]
Menstruation in female athletes every month, accompanied by pain, causes discomfort. Athletes can perform well in competitive situations as a result of AME, which acts as mental energy in other areas. In order to do this, the relationship between mental energy and winning medals was analysed among a group of Indonesia's elite athletes. Cross-sectional analysis and a correlational survey method were both used in the study design. There were 368 elite athletes consisting of 203 male athletes and 165 female athletes from the city of Bandung who participated in different sports and had an average age of 23 were included in this study. The data analysis used was descriptive univariate, bivariate using chi-square and multivariate using multiple linear regression in SPSS 26. The results obtained explained that AME as a whole has a 58.5% impact on the R Square value, while other factors outside the model have a 41.5% influence. In-depth, As a statistical conclusion, it has been found that AME's components of motivation (10,3%), concentration (12,8%), and confidence (14,6%) are highly related to winning medals, with scientific discoveries that back up the theoretical framework. Indonesian elite athletes need to be made aware of the relationship between Athletic Mental Energy (AME) and its contribution to medal success, and it is recommended that relevant information be disseminated by the authorities. However, relatively little information is known about the control intervention of Ae. aegypti in communities that have limited resources, especially during the COVID-19 Pandemic. The survey was conducted on 83 households in a high-risk community dengue fever in Semarang City, regarding knowledge and perceptions of dengue fever, vector control interventions, household expenditures, barriers, and factors that influence purchasing decisions. The results indicated that perceptions of dengue susceptibility decreased during the COVID-19 pandemic (88.1% to 66.3%). Households reported the most control intervention during the pandemic was using mosquito repellent lotion/burn/spray, the use of mosquito nets is still low (42.2%), and 47% due to changes in monitoring and roles from health workers/stakeholders during the COVID-19 pandemic. The community prioritizes the use of chemical insecticides to eradicate mosquitoes and less cleaning for the eradication of mosquito nests. In addition, dengue sufferers are found soon in their neighborhood, which is a densely populated settlement, with many neglected puddles found by larvae, many public places, and empty buildings that are not maintained so that they have a high potential to become a source of dengue vector development. The elderly have the highest risk of degenerative diseases like hypertension, diabetes, and stroke. To mitigate these risks, the elderly must undergo regular health checkups at the Integrated Healthcare Center (IHC). However, the utilization rate of IHC among the elderly in Indonesia is currently below the government target (70%). This study aimed to identify individual and clinical characteristics that influence the use of IHC among the elderly. This study used a cross-sectional design and analyzed data from the 2014 Indonesian Family Life Survey (IFLS-5), which included 5,581 respondents aged 45 or older. The dependent variable was IHC utilization, while the independent variables were age, gender, education level, employment status, location, health insurance, smoking status, hypertension, diabetes, stroke, blood pressure, central obesity, and body mass index (BMI). Univariate, bivariate, and multivariate analyses were conducted using STATA 13. The study findings revealed that IHC utilization was 5.38%. However, if the host city does not prepare properly, the positive impact of organizing sporting events cannot be achieved optimally. Even though the cost of organizing sporting events is not small and this burden the National and Regional Budgets a lot. This literature review is made to be a reference for the Government that wants to organize sporting events to pay attention to things that need to be prepared. This article uses 17 articles on organizing sporting events from the last ten years as data for analysis. Of all the articles reviewed, the authors found that there were several points that the host city had to prepare carefully so that sporting events could have the maximum impact, including improvement of city branding, impact on sponsorship companies, local economic development, positive media coverage, the social impact for local residents, social capital development on volunteers, improvement of public diplomacy, and athlete's development. It can be concluded that organizers need to work closely with local residents, as their opinion plays a very important role in the city's image. Local residents also have a role to convince international sports organizations to choose that country as the host country of sports events including how local residents promote their city will be a review for sports tourists before they come to sports events. Several things can be done to increase the positive impression of local residents, organizers must start improving the quality of infrastructure and public facilities. Furthermore, organizers need to build cooperation with local entrepreneurs and make local residents volunteer in sports events. This can create a positive impression that can increase local residents' trust and with this city image improvement, media exposure to sports events will also be good.
2023-11-23T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Proceedings of International Conference on Physical Education, Health, and Sports https://proceeding.unnes.ac.id/icophs/article/view/2694 Critical Systematic Review : Linear and Nonlinear What Is A Training Periodization Model? 2023-11-23T14:07:53+07:00 Taufiq Hidayah [email protected] Andry Akhiruyanto [email protected] Dewangga Yudhistira [email protected]
Periodization is an interesting study for the world of sports, especially achievement sports because in periodization there are plans that are made hierarchically and must be passed from phase to phase. This study aims to conduct a literature review study with a type of critical systematic review. This is done on the basis of the author's doubts regarding the terms exercise periodization, and linear and nonlinear concepts. On the basis of these problems, the author conducts a literature review so that it is expected to provide reflective results. The term exercise periodization can be agreed upon as a macro management and organization by considering nutrition and recovery so that exercise gets optimal results, While the linear concept is programming that is carried out progressively related to intensity and volume but can only be used in the short term so that negative things do not happen in performance. Then the concept of nonlinear is programming with intensity and volume settings more often in each meso or micro. It is hoped that this knowledge will benefit practitioners, coaches, athletes, and subsequent researchers. The limitation is that the inclusion criteria for literature selection are not mentioned, and the literature used is relatively small so it cannot generalize the results well. Research methods are less comprehensive, data analysis techniques are just synthesizing and evaluating. Further research is expected to improve this research to make it more perfect.
2023-11-23T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Proceedings of International Conference on Physical Education, Health, and Sports https://proceeding.unnes.ac.id/icophs/article/view/2695 Gymnastics Talent Identification Test in Semarang City 2023-11-23T14:14:00+07:00 Tommy Soenyoto [email protected] Agus Darmawan [email protected] Cut Niken Anjally [email protected] Dia Ami Amara [email protected] Wahyu Sholeh Kurniawan [email protected]
The purpose of this study was to determine the giftedness of children aged 10-15 years in gymnastics. Previous research stated that acts of bullying can occur during physical education learning hours. The purpose of this study was to find out how the role of physical education has on bullying in elementary schools from the point of view of elementary school physical education teachers in the Central Java. Respondents consisted of 70 elementary school physical education teachers. The interview technique is used as a qualitative research method in this study. The data were obtained after one-on-one interviews and were analyzed. In the opinion of some teachers, the concept of choosing a learning model and game approach chosen by the teacher is one of the determining factors for the opportunity for bullying to occur in physical education activities. The results of the study showed that the responses of 70 physical education teachers were concluded into four main theme groups including; Teacher awareness of the possibility of intimidation in physical education activities; Physical Education triggers acts of bullying; Selection of a learning approach model is important to minimize bullying; The impact on students exposed to bullying in physical education. Based on this theme as a suggestion for future research, research can be carried out on which learning models are less at risk of bullying, because according to some previous research results that physical education is a space that opens up opportunities for bullying and it is unavoidable.
2023-11-23T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Proceedings of International Conference on Physical Education, Health, and Sports https://proceeding.unnes.ac.id/icophs/article/view/2697 Sedentary Activities and Nutrition Intake during Fasting Month at Aduts in Central Java 2023-11-23T14:19:48+07:00 Widya Hary Cahyati [email protected] Natalia Desy Putriningtyas [email protected] Wara Dyah Pita Rengga [email protected] Suharyo Suharyo [email protected]
Macro-nutrients from energy sources such as carbohydrates, fats and proteins are needed by the body to carry out normal metabolic processes.
