https://proceeding.unnes.ac.id/icophs/article/view/3503

Physical condition ability is an important element in achieving martial arts achievement. Attention to improving the quality of physical condition must pay attention to factors that adhere to the principle of periodisation, the energy system used, and the predominance of biomotor components. There are several variations on the physical condition test for sparring category pencak silat athletes. Therefore the author wants to examine the dominant physical condition components for 14-17 year old sparring category pencak silat athletes. This study aims to analyse the dominant physical condition components in the sparring category pencak silat. This research method is quantitative with a descriptive approach to 43 sparring category pencak silat athletes aged 14-17 years. The instruments used are 9 physical condition instruments for sparring category pencak silat athletes. Data analysis techniques using percentages and a Likert scale of 1-5. The results showed that of the 9 (nine) test items carried out, there were 5 dominant physical components in the "very good" category, namely speed (13.9%), arm power (32.6%), leg power (44.1%), agility (53.5%), and aerobic endurance (44.1%). It can be concluded that there are five dominant physical condition components in pencak silat. It is recommended that the five elements of physical components need to be prioritised in providing training portions. However, this research needs to be conducted again considering that the subjects in this study were limited to the scope of Jember district athletes.
Ahmad Bahriyanto Fajar Awang IrawanSetya RahayuBambang Budi Raharjo

https://proceeding.unnes.ac.id/icophs/article/view/3502

The study evaluates the application of differential learning in physical education, advancing a student-centric approach to improving student skills, motivation, and holistic development. The research method used is PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses), which includes data search, filtering, quality assessment, and results analysis in a comprehensive manner. The study collected data from Scopus, PubMed, and ScienceDirect databases with criteria for inclusion of research on differential learning, open access articles, and studies in English. The results showed that out of 298 papers identified, 16 studies met the criteria for further analysis. Key findings indicate that differential learning in physical education provides significant benefits, including improved motor skills and coordination, learning motivation, social interaction, and student emotional well-being. This approach also enriches the teaching process by improving the accuracy of judgment, enabling the use of technology for more meaningful feedback, as well as optimizing the professional development of teachers. The conclusions of this study confirm that differential learning is an effective strategy in physical education that not only improves academic performance, but also supports the overall social, emotional, and physical development of students. Implementation of this method requires curriculum adjustment and improved teacher competence to ensure the achievement of holistic and inclusive educational goals. These findings can be a benchmark for educators, researchers, and policymakers in developing adaptive and responsive learning strategies to the needs of students in the 21st century.
Akbar Kusuma Abadi Gunarso Bagus WicaksonoAljawahir Agus KristionoOkky Putra Alwin PratamaMuhammad Budi Wijaya

https://proceeding.unnes.ac.id/icophs/article/view/3504

3x3 small-sides games are a form of training that is often used in various sports, including basketball, to improve the technical and physical skills of athletes. In 3x3 games, the field used is smaller and the number of players involved is less than in regular games, so the intenity of the games tends to be higher. This condition can affect various physiological parameters, one of wich is oxygen saturation (SpO2). Oxygen Saturation (SpO2) is an important indicator that shows hiw effectively oxygen is transported by the blood throughout the body. This parameter is often used to measure the fitness and health condition of athletes, especially in the context of intense exercise. Changes in SpO2 during exercise ac provide important information about the body’s adaptation to physical and cardiovascular stress. The method in this study used Quasy-experimental field with Pre-test one group research design. The source of data taken is oxygen saturation before and after playing small sides games 3x3 using a pluse oxymeter. The results of the Paired Sample Test obtained a value of 0.003(<0.05). the conclusion in this study small sides games 3x3 has a posotove effect on oxygen saturation (SpO2) in extracurricular basketball participants. An increase in SpO2 indicates that this exercise can improve the effeciency of the respiratory system and bloodi circulation, which in turn can improve athlete performance on the field.
Aljawahir Agus KristionoOkky Putra Alwin PratamaSyahrizal IslamAkbar Kusuma AbadiMuhammad Budi Wijaya

https://proceeding.unnes.ac.id/icophs/article/view/3508

Adversities are intrinsic to competitive environments where peak performance is crucial, impacting athletes across diverse domains including sports. For Muslim athletes, unique challenges stemming from their religious identity necessitate specialized strategies to foster mental toughness. This literature review explores psycho-religious approaches to enhance mental toughness among Muslim athletes. Through an analysis of literature published between 2014 and 2024, we identify key factors such as a rigorous training environment, access to psychological support, and intrinsic motivation as pivotal in cultivating mental resilience. While existing research primarily emphasizes individual psychological skills (athlete-centered training program), integrating cultural and religious contexts—such as the Islamic concept of patience (sabr)—offers a more holistic approach for Muslim athletes. This integration not only enriches current practices but also underscores the importance of cultural competence as well as religious faith in optimizing athletic performance through the development of mental toughness. Future research should further explore and validate these strategies to better support Muslim athletes in achieving their competitive goals.
Anirotul QoriahAftina Nurul Husna

https://proceeding.unnes.ac.id/icophs/article/view/3510

Pencak silat, as a traditional Indonesian sport, demands a high level of physical and mental fitness from its athletes. In the context of competition, the test is a crucial moment that tests the ability of athletes to face intense physical challenges. Two important physiological parameters to monitor during the test are respiratory rate and heart rate. Respiratory rate reflects the efficiency of the respiratory system in meeting the body's oxygen needs, while heart rate indicates a cardiovascular response to increased physical activity. This study aims to analyze the effect of 3-round competition on respiratory rate and heart rate in pencak silat athletes in Pekalongan City. The optimal respiratory rate supports strong respiratory capacity, allowing athletes to maintain their peak performance during the game. Meanwhile, the increase in heart rate reflects how the athlete's heart works harder to pump blood and deliver oxygen to the hardworking muscles. Methods This research uses quasy experiments, using quantitative analysis. Primary data sources consist of respiratory rate and heart rate. The sample used in this study amounted to 11 pencak silat athletes. The shapiro-wilk test is used for data normality. The leave test is used for homogeneity. The paired t test was used for the statistical analysis of this study with a significant Nilain P > 0.05 as the standard. SPSS Ins, Chigago, IL USA, used for all analyses. The results showed that an increase in respiratory rate was recorded with a significance value of 0.004 (<0.005), indicating that intensive physical activity during the competition substantially increased the respiratory capacity of athletes. In addition, the increase in heart rate was also significant with a significance value of 0.001 (<0.005), indicating that the cardiovascular response to the test was very high..Conclusion This study showed that the pencak silat test for 3 rounds significantly increased the respiratory rate and heart rate of athletes.
Aris AriyadiSyahrizal IslamIndah Sari DewiDian SaputriArif Rahman

https://proceeding.unnes.ac.id/icophs/article/view/3516

Regular physical activity, especially moderate to vigorous physical activity (MVPA), has been proven to have positive effects on memory function. This is due to the significant influence of physical activity on brain function. Several studies indicate that physical activity optimizes brain development, especially in school-aged children who are still growing. The method used in this research is a two-step research design. Firstly, a Research and Development approach will be utilized to prepare and develop a moderate physical activity program suitable for elementary school children. Secondly, an Experimental Group Design will be employed to investigate the effects of physical activity on brain function. Researchers administered a "Digit Symbol Test” to experimental groups before and after the physical activity. The “Digit Symbol Test” is completed within 90 seconds, and students are required to complete as many as possible within their ability. The results indicate that the scores after the physical activity intervention tend to increase compared to the scores before the physical activity. The highest score increase is 27 points, with an average score increase of 9 points. These results are also consistent with previous studies and will challenge the perspective of parents who believe that physical activity before lessons begin has a negative impact on the learning process. This research proves that physical activity conducted before the start of lessons has a beneficial effect on students' brain function.
Donny Wira Yudha KusumaTandiyo RahayuGizalias Kusnanda Nurrafi’uAgus Widodo SuriptoRicka Ulfatul Faza

https://proceeding.unnes.ac.id/icophs/article/view/3528

: The objective of this study is to elucidate the requirements of educators in Palembang City for the creation of swimming technique learning models that are based on Augmented Reality (AR). Specifically, the study will focus on the 9-11 year age group. At the outset of the development of an AR-based learning paradigm, a needs analysis is conducted. A descriptive method with an educational survey type is employed in the research. Five instructors participated in the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) activities, and ten individuals completed a questionnaire that carried qualitative data types. The FGD results indicate that only three teachers have used video media obtained from YouTube, while 100% of the teachers have never implemented AR-based swimming technique learning. In the current era of digitalization, students aged 9-11 who are intimately familiar with technology, particularly smartphones; require AR-based learning as a novel approach to learning swimming techniques. The questionnaire results indicate that 80% of educators require media with visualization that is more realistic, engaging, and contemporary, such as AR-based learning. The content of the material must be visualized in order to create a realistic experience, as swimming material is associated with the introduction and coordination of movements. Therefore, a learning model that merely explains concepts and theories will not suffice, as 90% of teachers strongly agree that risk and anxiety factors are the most significant inhibitors to the improvement of students' swimming skills. The teacher recommends that researchers continue the development of an AR-based swimming technique learning model so that the results can be incorporated into their learning process, as indicated by these results.
Farizal ImansyahBambang Budi RaharjoHeny SetyawatiMugiyo Hartono

https://proceeding.unnes.ac.id/icophs/article/view/3534

The 1962 Asian Games in Jakarta were an important moment in Indonesian history. Held amidst international political upheaval and a difficult economic situation, this event marks the rise of Indonesian sports on the international stage. Behind the glittering achievements, the 1962 Asian Games are also shrouded in historical complexity. Massive infrastructure development, such as Gelora Bung Karno (GBK), sparked controversy related to corruption, forced demolition and human rights violations. More than just a sporting event, the 1962 Asian Games had a multidimensional impact on Indonesia. This event became a tool of President Soekarno's political diplomacy, encouraging economic growth and sparking the spirit of nationalism. The legacy of the 1962 Asian Games also needs to be examined critically. There needs to be an objective evaluation of the positive and negative impacts, as well as the role of various parties in implementing it. It is important to understand the 1962 Asian Games not only as a moment of glory, but also as an integral part of Indonesia's complex and contradictory history.
Imron Nugroho SaputroTandiyo RahayuSoedjatmiko SoedjatmikoSulaiman Sulaiman
