PENGEMBANGAN PETUNJUK PRAKTIKUM BERBASIS LABORATORY SKILLS PADA KINGDOM FUNGI

Abstract

Pembelajaran biologi seharusnya menekan pada proses berbasis kerja laboratorium yang mampu meningkatkan ketrampilan proses sains siswa. Penelitianini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan petunjuk praktikum berbasis laboratory skills pada materi Kingdom Fungi kelas X dan menguji validitas, kepraktisan, dan keefektifannya dalam mengembangkan ketrampilan laboratorium yang meliputi ketrampilan proses sains, ketrampilan keselamatan laboratorium, ketrampilan manipulasi sains, ketrampilan berpikir, dan sikap ilmiah. Desain penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas X. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan lembar observasi ketrampilan laboratorium dan angket tanggapan pakar, guru, dan siswa. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa petunjuk praktikum yang dikembangkan sangat valid (89,9%) menurut pakar, sangat praktis (81,6%) menurut tanggapan siswa dan guru, serta sangat efektif dilihat dari rata-rata nilai siswa yang sangat terampil (3,6) dalam nilai ketrampilan laboratorium. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut petunjuk praktikum yang dikembangkan dapat dikatakan layak diterapkan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran.

 

The Biology’s learning process shoul be focused in the lab work activity so that the science processs skills can be developed. This research was purposed to develop the the laboratory skills based guidance in the lab-work for students on Fungi Kingdom concept for grade X and to examine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness in developing laboratoratory skills including the science process skills, lab-safety skills, manipulative skills, thinking skills, and science attitude.This research was using the Research and Development (R&D) design with student of grade X as the subject of the research. The data were collected using observationsheet of laboratory skills and questionnaire sheet for the expert, teachers, and student. The data were analized using descriptive percentage. Result of the research showed that the lab-work guidance is very valid (89,9%), very practice (81,6%) and very effective based on result of the average of student’s mark shows competent (3,6) in doing the laboratory skills. Based on the result, can be said that the lab-work guidance developed is proper to be applied in learning activity.
