Pengaruh Metode Mnemonik Terhadap Kemampuan Penalaran Matematis dan Daya Ingat

Abstract

Abstrak. Pentingnya kemampuan penalaran matematis dan daya ingat peserta didik, pendidik diharapkan memberikan pembelajaran dengan menerapkan model dan metode pembelajaran yang dapat memberikan peluang dan mendorong peserta didik untuk melatih kemampuan penalaran matematis dan daya ingat peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode mnemonik terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematis dan daya ingat siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan desain Pre-Eksperimental dengan bentuk One-Shot Case Study. Instrumen penelitian ini terdiri dari tes kemampuan penalaran matematis dan angket daya ingat. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji proporsi satu pihak kanan yang ternormalisasi dan uji hipotesis. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dengan uji z, diperoleh Zhitung =3,15 > Ztabel = 1,645 Zhitung =3,15 > Ztabel = 1,645 yang artinya H0 H0 ditolak. Sedangkan hasil perhitungan angket daya ingat diperoleh Zhitung =3,15 > Ztabel = 1,645 Zhitung =3,15 > Ztabel = 1,645 yang artinya H0 H0 ditolak. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa metode mnemonik berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematis dan  Pembelajaran dengan metode mnemonik berpengaruh terhadap daya ingat peserta didik.

Abstract. The importance of mathematical reasoning abilities and students' memory, educators are expected to provide learning by applying learning models and methods that can provide opportunities and encourage students to train students' mathematical reasoning and memory skills. This study aims to determine the effect of the mnemonic method on students' mathematical reasoning abilities and memory. The method used in this research is an experimental method with a pre-Experimental design in the form of One-Shot Case Study. The research instrument consists of a mathematical reasoning ability test and a memory questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is the normalized right-hand proportion test and hypothesis testing. Based on the results of data analysis with the z test, it was obtained Zcount=3.15> Ztable=1.645, which means H0 H0 is rejected. While the results of the calculation of the memory questionnaire obtained Zcount=3.15> Ztable=1.645 which means H0 H0 is rejected. The results of this study indicate that the mnemonic method affects the ability of mathematical reasoning and learning with the mnemonic method affects the memory of students.
