Abstract

Abstrak. Proses pembelajaran dalam kurikulum 2013 di Indonesia menggunakan pendekatan saintifik atau menggunakan five discovery skills. Lima keterampilan ini sesuai dengan model pembelajaran inkuiri. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kendala guru dalam menerapkan pendekatan saintifik berbasis inkuiri mata pelajaran IPA di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 2 Komet Banjarbaru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Narasumber dalam penelitian ini adalah 6 orang guru IPA SDN 2 Komet Banjarbaru, data dikumpulkan dengan wawancara, dan telaah dokumen. Penarikan kesimpulan melalui proses dari pengumpulan data dengan teknik wawancara dan telaah dokumen. Data yang sudah terkumpul, kemudian diolah dengan analisis data dengan pendekatan induktif yang bersifat khusus ke data yang bersifat umum, dan dengan pengecekan keabsahan data tersebut. Hasil penelitian ini telah menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa kendala guru dalam menerapkan pendekatan saintifik berbasis inkuiri pada sains di Sekolah Dasar akibat guru kurang menguasai teknik memancing siswa bertanya, kurang menguasai pendekatan saintifik, kurangnya penguasaan langkah-langkah inkuiri, dan kurangnya acuan atau contoh penerapan inkuiri dalam pembelajaran daring. Hal ini terjadi karena kelemahan buku ajar kurikulum 2013 yaitu kurangnya mengarahkan penerapan inkuiri. Penyebab lainnya dalam ulasan dikemukakan tentang alasan guru tidak menerapkan inkuiri yaitu pembelajaran inkuiri memerlukan waktu lebih banyak dalam hal persiapan, kesulitan merancang inkuiri secara e-learning, dan kesulitan implementasi di ruang kelas online. Sehingga saran penelitian ini : 1). Perlu adanya model pelatihan guru dalam hal menerapkan pendekatan saintifik berbasis inkuiri dan 2). Perlu tersedianya buku ajar IPA menggunakan pendekatan saintifik berbasis e-inkuiri learning

Abstract. The learning process in the 2013 curriculum in Indonesia uses a scientific approach or uses five discovery skills. These five skills are in accordance with the inquiry learning model. The purpose of this study was to analyze the teacher's obstacles in applying a scientific approach to inquiry-based science subjects at the State Elementary School 2 Komet Banjarbaru. This study uses a qualitative approach. The resource persons in this study were 6 science teachers at SDN 2 Komet Banjarbaru, data were collected by interview, and document review. Drawing conclusions through the process of data collection with interview techniques and document review. The data that has been collected is then processed by data analysis with an inductive approach that is specific to general data, and by checking the validity of the data. The results of this study have shown that there are several obstacles for teachers in applying a scientific approach based on inquiry to science in elementary schools due to teachers lack of mastery of techniques to provoke students to ask questions, lack of mastery of scientific approaches, lack of mastery of inquiry steps, and lack of references or examples of application of inquiry in online learning. This happened because of the weakness of the 2013 curriculum textbooks, namely the lack of directing the application of inquiry. Other causes in the review stated the reasons teachers do not apply inquiry, namely inquiry learning requires more time in terms of preparation, difficulties in designing inquiry in e-learning, and difficulties in implementation in online classrooms. So the suggestions of this research: 1). There needs to be a teacher training model in terms of applying an inquiry-based scientific approach and 2). It is necessary to provide science textbooks using a scientific approach based on e-inquiry learning
