This article presents a systematic review of the development of physical literacy in Indonesia based on 16 recent national publications encompassing instrument research, instructional implementation, school-based interventions, publication trends, and the relationship between physical literacy and physical fitness. The review was conducted through content analysis of articles published in accredited įournals and national conference proceedings. The findings indicate that the development of physical literacy in Indonesia remains focused on instrument development, teacher assessment, school-based program implementation, and theoretical examinations. Although various efforts have been made to develop measurement tools and implementation models, maįor challenges persist in instrument standardization, cross-cultural validation, and integration into the Physical Education curriculum. In addition, publication trends show a significant increase over the past five years, particularly in topics related to assessment and physical activity. This review provides implications for strengthening policy, curriculum development, and further research related to physical literacy in Indonesia.
