ART LEARNING FOR CHILDREN WITH DELAYED CHILDREN IN SLB NEGERI CITY OF TEGAL

Abstract

Art Learning Research for Children with Developmental Disabilities in SLegal City of Tegal City has the aim to find out more about children with special needs type of intellectual disability researchers want to know how the learning process and learning of art that educators do in class for children with intellectual disabilities.

The output of this research will be presented in the form of: Scientific article to be published so that it can be an enrichment in the science of education, especially the Science of Children's Education with special needs.

This study uses a descriptive qualitative method, meaning that the problems discussed in this study describe or describe the state of the art learning for mentally retarded children in SLB Negeri Tegal City.

Research results indicate that In general for normal children when reciting and writing the words swing, teeter seesaw, surfboard is very easy but different for mentally retarded children to pronounce and write has the same difficulty. Through fairy tales students are taught to share with each other, helping each other help everyone. In learning Music Art only teaches songs that are related to the learning theme, educators choose songs that fit the learning theme and the lyrics that are played are usually related to learning too, examples of dear mother, my balloon and others, song lyrics also have an important role for students in learning in class, song lyrics that are often heard can increase the memory of students in vocabulary so that it can affect the behavior of students in everyday life in society.Through songs, students will gain various experiences from the lyrics of songs that have been sung.
